Light in the Attic
Light in the Attic was founded by Matt Sullivan in 2001, initially a company that promoted live shows in the Seattle area. Sullivan's inspiration for founding Light in the Attic actually came from a holiday in Spain, when he crashed into the car of Iñigo Pastor, owner of Spanish labels Munster and Vampi Soul; Pastor would be Sullivan's mentor in setting up a record business of his own.
Today, Light in the Attic issue not only new recordings by current artists, but also compilations archiving regional scenes and reissuing long out-of-print releases.
