Based off of the 1991 Bret Easton Ellis novel and the 2000 movie release with Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman, Concord Music Group now releases Duncan Sheik's original London cast recording of American Psycho starring Matt Smith.
The London production of the play occurred in 2013/ 2014 at the Almeida Theatre, with continuous sold out performances and great reviews (especially lead Matt Smith) in The Guardian, The Times, Evening Standard, London Theatre, etc.
Besides Duncan Sheik's rock/pop status, he is already known in Broadway circles due to the success of "Spring Awakening: A New Musical", in which he did all of the music. That play has been given a new life with a Broadway return melding song & sign language: two actors at all times with one singing/talking, and the other signing.
