The Pearl 695RBE Vigore Flute is part of their 'Dolce' flute series with a 'Vigore' option package, offering elements of handmade professional flutes for those on a mid-range budget.
This flute has a silver plated body and foot joint, but offers improved tonal depth and amazing projection due to the 3K gold lip plate and .925 solid silver 'Forza' head joint. It features a B foot joint to extend the range of the instrument down to low B, which is very useful for orchestral music and advanced solo pieces. Added to this, there is a C# trill key to better facilitate a B to C# trill, and a D# roller to enable easier movement between the keys on the foot joint. Open holes or 'ring' keys are particularly useful for extended techniques such as note slides and quarter tones, as well as encouraging a good hand and finger position.
As with all Pearl flutes, the 695RBE-VGR features both their patented 'Pinless Mechanism' which significantly reduces the levels of body acids and perspiration able to enter the mechanism, and their 'One-Piece-Core-Bar' construction which adds strength and stability to the entire instrument, making it easier to service than traditionally constructed flutes.
This flute includes many extra features which would normally greatly increase the cost of an instrument, yet Pearl have managed to keep this 695RBE Vigore at a very reasonable price.
