Oriana Curls - a judge on BBC1’s ‘All Together Now’ releases new album Because I’m French featuring the single ‘Lose Myself in You’. The album was recorded at Bamba Studios and produced by the iconic Koby Israelite, a multi-instrumentalist composer, producer, songwriter and band leader. ‘Lose Myself In You’ was mastered by Helik Hadar (LA based Grammy Award winner).
A multilingual and multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, modern Cabaret Jazz Singer and with French Glamour. Oriana is a quirky Songwriter and brings some ‘Joie de vivre’ to London, the UK and abroad. She has just starred in the new French TV program ‘French in the city’ the main channel M6, hosted by David Ginola.
Born in Strasbourg, France, Oriana is a typical example of what it feels like ‘not being born in the right place’. Though she says that everything she went through made her who she is today, so she wouldn’t change any of it’, it hasn’t been a straightforward journey for her to establish herself as a singer/songwriter performing in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium or the renowned Cheltenham and Edinburgh festivals.
‘Oriana is an incredible performer’ Tom King, ‘The Southside Advertiser’
‘Oriana = Genius’ Stephen Coates, ‘The Real Tuesday Weld’
‘Wonderful music and voice’ Ranald Macdonald, Boisdale Jazz Clubs
‘Oriana has an extraordinary way of communicating with her audience through her music, in a way that not only touches them, but also makes them feel like they are a part of her journey. She is a brilliant storyteller and with her music she paints stories that you are eager to follow, listen to, and be a part of - simply to find out where it will take you.’ Gina Langton, The Powerful Artist
