Although Skiffle was mainly a short-lived British phenomenon its time in the spotlight proved a vital influence on youngsters that would go on to form key bands. Members of The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and many others, were all Skifflers and this collection contains the cream of the genre.
