Rochester, NY's GIANT PANDA GUERILLA DUB SQUAD return with their first full-length album since 2016's 'Make It Better'. Panda, which has been a leading US reggae band for nearly two decades now, began the project working closely in their hometown with their old friend Matthew Goodwin (The Movement and Easy Star All-Stars). As they progressed, they decided to expand their sonic palette and vision by bringing the music to a diverse group of artists, who each put a bit of their own stamp on the project: this included Italian/Jamaican reggae star Alborosie; Danny Kalb (The Movement, The Green, HIRIE, Ben Harper), who had previously worked with Panda on some of their most popular tunes,a respected trio of artists/producers (Tippy I Grade, Jah David Goldfine, and Andrew Moon Bain) who have worked with everyone from Protoje and Jah9 to Midnite and Snoop Lion. Beyond that, the band recruited guest artists they love, including The Movement, reggae legends Anthony B and Clinton Fearon, Double Tiger, Blakkamoore, and Skribe Da God, to add vocals to many songs. 'Love In Time' delivers on so many of the things that make Giant Panda a perennial favorite: propulsive rhythms, experimental production, and positive vibes. Panda feels that this album has all of the reggae, folk, and Americana influences that the band has traditionally separated into their own albums and songs into one larger musical mosaic, thanks to the input of this huge squad of collaborators.
