Paris, Olympia: Saturday, November 30, 1957. A concert that sold out despite very little advertising, now considered one of the most beautiful jazz concerts. The star: Mr. Miles Davis, arriving from America and supported by Kenny Clarke, Rene Urtreger, Pierre Michelot, Barney Wilen. The group brought together that evening by Miles Davis was the one who would record the soundtrack for Louis Malle's film "Ascenseur pour l'echafaud" a few days later, on the night of December 4 to 5, 1957.
