This edition, with additional orchestration attributed to Mozart, has been made possible thanks to the generosity of Halifax plc.
The first performance of this edition (sung in English) was given on 23 June 2002 in the VictoriaTheatre Halifax, by the Halifax Choral Society and the North of England Chamber Orchestra conducted by John Pryce-Jones.
The first German performance was given on 11 June 2004 in the Moritzkirche, Halle, with the MDRRundfunkchor und Sinfonieorchester conducted by Howard Arman.
