Sing for the King is an open invitation for all choirs to join in song to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, acclaimed singer and composer, has been commissioned by the RSCM to compose a new coronation anthem for this project: The Mountains Shall Bring Peace.
The anthem sets the words of the psalms and is suitable for both services and concerts. The anthem has moments of grandeur for larger choirs on formal occasions, while its accessible melodic sweep lends an intimacy that will be enjoyed by smaller groups and gatherings.
