SCENES FROM THE OPERA IMOINDA
1. Overture - In the 16th Century at the African Kingdom of Guinea
2. Love Duet - At the Palace, IMOINDA and PRINCE OKO confirm their love for each other.
3. That Point of No Return - The King has promised IMOINDA to be a wife of another. The lovers refuse to accept the King's will. The King, who is not to be disobeyed, proclaims that the lovers are to be sent as slaves to the Americas. This scene takes place as they are torn apart from each other.
